  • What is a CNA?

    A Certified Nursing Assistant has completed an accredited CNA program, taken a state exam, and is registered with the state. CNAs work under the direct supervision of a nurseThey are an important part of your healthcare team.

  • CNAs Learn How To

    CNAs help patients with daily activities like bathing, grooming and eating. They also collect important data such as vital signs, and intake and output and report it to the nurse.

  • GTHI's Curriculum

    GTHI's curriculum consists of classroom and practical instruction in health, nutrition, safety, personal care, developmental and emotional needs. Upon completion of the course, students are eligible to take the CNA Exam.

  • CNA Job Outlook

    The employment outlook for a Certified Nursing Assistant is expected to grow due to the high demand for healthcare for an aging and elderly population.

GTHI For Your CNA Training

Certified nursing assistants (CNAs), also known as nurse’s aides, patient care technicians, and home health aides work under the supervision of a licensed nurse to provide patients with assistance in carrying out daily tasks.

Our Mission: The Mission of Graceful Touch Health Institute is to educate and train students in the responsibilities and duties so they effectively become aware of the importance of their role as a Certified Nurse Assistant. It is the goal of this school that the student evolves through the program into a CNA with a sense of achievement and pride, and be the best in their field.

What we do: GTHI will effectively and thoroughly prepare students for the state required examination to become a Certified Nurse’s Assistant. As an invaluable and added aspect of our program CPR Instruction will be presented and each student will receive the CPR Certification.

Facts For Applicants

GTHI grads are prepared to pass North Carolina's Nurse Aide I competency test.

North Carolina's Nurse Aide I Registry is a registry of all people who meet the state and federal training and testing requirements to perform Nurse Aide I tasks.

Applicants should be tactful, patient, understanding, healthy, emotionally stable, dependable, have a desire to help people, team players with good communication skills and willing to perform repetitive, routine tasks.
